Physical Activity Policies and School Health Advisory Council

Panhandle ISD has a local policy concerning the wellness of our students and staff.  These Policies may be viewed by clicking the “blue” links.

District policies (EHAB and EHAC) ensure that elementary school and middle school students engage in at least 30 minutes per school day or 135 minutes per school week of physical activity.

Current campus physical activities:

  • Panhandle Elementary provides daily 30 minutes of physical activity through recess, music or P.E. class.

  • Panhandle Jr. High provides daily 45 minutes of physical activity through Band, or P.E. class.
